The TFP Composting Toilet, uses a proven composting technology, urine diversion and active ventilation to produce a toilet that is comfortable, odorless and easy to maintain. Shipping is free in the Continental United States (Lower 48 States).

TFP provides the drum, urine diverter, ventilation components, liquid and solids containers, all the hardware, and the plans for the do-it-yourselfer to cut the exterior shell themselves out of one (1) sheet of 3/4” plywood. We recommend the exterior shell is treated with a sealant to protect it from moisture.

All interior parts (drum and urine diversion) are constructed of durable, moisture resistant high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic (in black).

Unit can either be set up as self-contained (where urine is collected in the rear or side in a 2.5 gallon container) or set up for direct discharge to ground via tubing coming out the back of the toilet.

It is the same price regardless of the urine set up.

The TFP Composting Toilet weighs 70 pounds fully constructed and it’s dimensions are 24 1/8″ deep x 28 1/16″ total height x 18 1/4″ wide.

Note that both options have a 9 5/16” high step and a standard toilet seat that is 1” high, making the toilet seat height from the step 19 3/4”.
